Wide Open Spaces seeks to uphold the agricultural traditions of days past while also bringing you high-quality, grass-fed beef that looks good, tastes good, and is good for you and your family. 

Grass-fed beef continues to gain popularity across the nation.  For some, the clean taste and connection with local farms bring back memories of Sunday Dinners from times of old.  For others, consuming a more health-conscious or environmentally sustainable choice motivates them to make the most cost-effective decision.

All of our sales are direct to consumer, meaning it’s directly from farm to table.  We typically are setup at HB Hardware (5601 Main St, Hokes Bluff, Alabama 35903) and post the dates / times when we are there from our Facebook account. Please note that Hokes Bluff Hardware does NOT sell meat for Wide Open Spaces. Please contact Wide Open Spaces if you would like to purchase our meat.

Some Benefits of Grass Fed Beef:

• Health:  Along with higher levels of antioxidants present, there is also a lower overall percentage of saturated fat, higher vitamin absorption, and less cholesterol elevating saturated fatty acids.
• Environmental:  With local beef, there is less fuel and energy required in refrigeration and transport to get beef to market.  Other benefits include an increase in soil quality, local ecosystems being restored, and less usage of synthetic fertilizers like nitrates.
• Economic:  Local agriculture keeps money in the community and supports local farmers and businesses rather than larger corporations.
