Haulers Insurance was established in 1986 as a regional property and casualty insurance company, offering a broad array of personal and commercial automobile products and services. Our operations have spread beyond Tennessee to include Alabama, Georgia, Indiana, Missouri, South Carolina, and Virginia.

Our commitment is to exceed the expectations of our customers and independent insurance agents by providing a high standard of excellence and mutual trust. HICI's motto, "Service Second to None", has been our goal since inception.

Professionally owned and operated independent insurance agencies provide our insurance products to customers with exceptional service and advice. Approximately 800 independent agencies represent HICI today. In 2008, Haulers Insurance Company became part of the Shelter Insurance group of companies, one of the nation's leaders in providing sound insurance and financial products and services since 1946.
